1. Press and hold the 'USD' key until a 0 appears, and then enter the exchange rate you wish to set. After you input the number, press 'USD' again. For example, if you wanted to set a conversion of 1 Euro to 0.82 of the U.S. dollar, then hold 'USD' until the 0 shows, enter 0.82, and hit 'USD.' This sets 1 Euro = $0.82 by establishing 0.82 as the value of the dollar relative to the foreign currency.
2. Perform a currency conversion by entering a monetary value. Press 'USD' to designate that number as U.S. dollars. Hit 'Foreign' to convert that number into the foreign currency.
3. Reverse the steps to convert from foreign currency to U.S. dollars. Enter the number, hit 'Foreign' to designate as foreign currency, and press 'USD' to convert to U.S. currency.
