How to Check the Foreign Exchange

Posted by at 12:55 AM Read our previous post

1. Go to an Internet Web page for currency conversion. Yahoo! Finance, International Currency Converter and x-rates.com all offer currency conversion tools on their home pages (see Resources).
2. Enter the currency you want to convert from in the first box and the currency you want to convert to in the second box. Currencies are identified by a three-letter code. Each currency converter will have a browse or pulldown menu to select different currencies.
3. Make a note of the currency conversion rate. For example, to convert euros to Mexican pesos, the symbol for the euro is EUR and goes in the first box. Browsing for the Mexican peso gives a symbol of MXN and the exchange rate shows automatically. On June 15, 2010, each euro would buy 15.5012 Mexican pesos.
