Add a Fibonacci Tool
1. Choose a chart to add a Fibonacci tool to it by clicking on the chart in the work area, or load a new chart. The border at the top of the chart will be dark blue if selected.
2. Select one of five possible Fibonacci tools -- Retracement, Time Zones, Fan, Arcs or Expansion -- from the Insert/Fibonacci pop-up menu.
3. Use the single-click button labeled 'F' for retracement only. It is located two lines down from the top toolbar. Place the cursor over this button. A pop-up will indicate it is the Fibonacci tool.
Delete a Fibonacci Value
4. Select Charts/Objects/Object List from the top menu bar.
5. Click the checkbox of the Fibo tool whose values you want to delete from the Objects drop-down menu. The tool will be highlighted in dark blue. Click 'Edit,' not 'Delete.' Click on Fibo Levels at the top of the box. The tool's Fibo values will appear in a box for editing.
6. Highlight the value to be deleted by clicking on it. Click 'Delete' on the right, then 'OK' at the bottom. The chart will reflect your change immediately.
Add a Fibonacci Value
7. Select Charts/Objects/Objects List from the top menu bar.
8. Select the Fibo tool from the Objects listed by clicking its selection box on the left. The tool will be highlighted in dark blue. Click on Fibo Levels at the top of the box. Click 'Edit,' not 'Delete.'
9. Click 'Add' on the right side of the tool's existing Fibo values when they appear for editing. A new line will appear with two blank arguments: Level and Description..
10. Enter a Level value as a decimal, such as 0.34 for 34 percent.
11. Double-click on the right argument, Description. Enter the whole number representing that percentage, such as 34 for 34 percent. Click 'OK,' then close the list of objects.
Modify a Fibonnaci Value
12. Select Charts/Objects/Objects List from the top menu bar.
13. Select the Fibo tool from the Objects listed by clicking its selection box on the left. The tool will be highlighted in dark blue. Click on Fibo Levels at the top of the box. Click 'Edit,' not 'Delete.'
14. Double-click on the decimal value you want to modify. Enter the new decimal value. For example, .03 equals 3 percent.
15. Double-click on the Description for that value to the right of the decimal value. Enter the new description. Press 'OK' at the bottom of the edit box, then close.
