1. Download the Metatrader4 software onto your computer. An Internet search will quickly reveal several currency broker websites where you can find Metatrader4 to download for free.
2. Open the Metatrader4 software and choose which currency you are going to trade with under the 'Charts' menu. Select the live pricing chart for the currency you will be trading. Go to 'File' and click 'Save As' and save this chart to your computer as a 'SCV' file.
3. Open the Forex Killer software on your computer. In the middle of the home screen toward the top is a series of large blue tabs with white writing on them. Select the 'Load' tab and then choose the SCV file you saved in Step 2. This will open the Metatrader4 currency chart into Forex Killer.
4. Choose your trading timeframe, currency to trade with and which currency market you want to trade in on the Forex Killer home screen. These options can be found on the left side of the home screen in the box labeled 'Step 2: Set parameters.'
5. Determine the signals that will help you know when to initiate a purchase or sale of your chosen trading currency. These signals allow you to protect against wild swings in the currency exchange market that may result in significant financial losses. These options are located on the Forex Killer's home screen in the box labeled 'Step 3: Calculate signals.'
6. Click on the large orange 'Calculate Signals' box in the middle of the Forex Killer home screen. Two graphs will appear at the bottom of the screen that show the prices to buy and sell your chosen currency on a long-term and short-term basis. 'Short term' in this instance is defined as one hour or less while 'long term' mean an hour or more. If you are unsatisfied with the data points produced by Forex Killer, you can adjust the data you entered into Forex Killer before hitting the 'Calculate Signals' button to revise your information and find a trading scenario that you are more comfortable with.
