1. Visit Zecco's website. Scroll through the site to learn about what they offer. The conditions for free trades are simple: Every month you get 10 free stock trades if you maintain a balance of at least $25,000 or execute at least 25 trades that month. If you cannot meet these conditions, you have to pay $4.50 per trade. If you are unclear about any point in their terms and conditions don't be afraid to contact them directly either via live chat, email or phone.
2. Open an account. Zecco provides an online application process that can take up to 15 minutes to fill out. You also have to provide proof of identity and proof of address for verification purposes. For proof of identity, you can use your driver's license or ID card. And for proof of address, you may submit a recent bill or any letter that bears your address.
3. Fund your account. Zecco offers various ways that investors can use to fund their account. Such methods include linking a bank account (ACH), depositing a check, depositing via wire transfer or transferring a brokerage account to Zecco trading. You should fund above $25,000 to benefit from the free trade program (If you have limited capital, you can still trade for free if you make more than 25 trades each month).
4. Start trading for free. Try to keep your balance above $25,000 all the time to continue to be eligible for free trades or try to make at least 25 trades per month for the same purpose.
