Convert Currency Using Google
1.
The search engine Google makes converting currencies very simple. Browse to http://www.Google.com to begin.
2.
Let's assume you don't know any details about Brazil's currency, or what it's called. On Google, simply enter 'Brazil currency' and click Google Search.
3.
At the very top of Google's results, it has automatically given us the name of Brazil's currency, called the 'real.' It also gives the current Brazil-to-U.S. exchange rate.
4.
Of course you could do the exchange rate math yourself, but it's easier to have Google do the work. In the search box, simply type 'Convert 1,000 Brazilian reals to USD' and press 'Search.' The 'USD' stands for U.S. dollar. Substitute the '1,000' for the exact amount you need to convert.
5.
Google uses the current exchange rates and displays the answer in U.S. dollars.
6. You can also convert the other way, from U.S. dollars to Brazilian currency. Simply tell Google to 'Convert 1,000 USD to Brazilian real' and press 'Search.'
