1. Go to a virtual currency exchange board. Some popular exchange boards are Zeevex, First Meta Exchange and Currency Connect. Look for an exchange board that has the best rates and can trade your metal currency.
2. Select the currency you have (your metal currency), and select the currency you would like to transfer it to (IMVU credits).
3. Enter the amount of currency you would like to sell. In currency exchange terminology, you buy one currency and sell another when you're trading. In this case, you are selling metal currency and buying IMVU credits. If you had IMVU credits and you wanted to transfer them to metal currency, you would sell IMVU credits to buy metal currency.
4. Complete the transaction at 'Market Order,' or the 'Current Rate.' If you choose 'Market Order' the transaction will complete at the lowest available cost. The downside to this is that the lowest available cost could greatly increase by the time the transaction goes through. If you choose 'Current Rate,' you ensure you will complete the transaction at that cost. If the price falls, however, you won't be eligible for a lower price.
5. Click 'Submit Order' and confirm it. Your order confirmation will pop up and you can now use your IMVU credits.
